My Faith

I blog a lot about my faith. So if you wanted to know more about what I believe, here you go!

My faith is something that has always been important to me. I’m not some crazy person who’s trying to convert you or anything, so you can just relax. However, I also have zero shame about my beliefs, and Jesus is a huge part of my life (probably bigger than the anxiety part!) and so I will be writing about that too. If you are here reading this and you are not a Christian – or even if you are – I would just like to say a few things about what I believe.

I believe that Jesus is God, I believe in the Trinity, I believe that Jesus died to save us.
I believe that God is love. I believe God loves everyone; and I find it very frustrating listening to all the other “Christians” out there who preach hate.
I do certain things because I love God. NOT because I feel like “I have to” or because I feel like I am forced to follow some sort of rule book. That is not what the Bible is to me.

I believe that being a Christian is having a personal, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, not about following a bunch of rules or being “brainwashed” into thinking a certain way and no longer having any sort of free will or freedom to think rationally or critically.

Of course, my blog is not only about my faith. However, I feel like right now, there are a lot of misconceptions about Christianity, and I wanted you all to know what I really believe.

  1. It’s nice to have found your blog. I also suffer with anxiety (agoraphobia is my biggest anxiety issue) and I share your belief in Jesus. Looking forward to hearing more from you :)
