How many times a day do you do this? Instead of looking at your blessings, you choose to look at what you want. You choose to look at what you don’t have. Now, I don’t know what you do have or what you don’t have or what you want or what you need.
However, I do know what I want. And I want a lot of things. Some of these things are out of my control. And when I realize that, I get upset. Very upset. And that isn’t healthy. And that isn’t what God wants for me. Or anyone else.
From now on, I’m going to try my hardest to pay more attention to my blessings. To let those things define me. What I have, rather than what I don’t have. Because if I keep chasing all the wants in life, I’m going to miss out all the amazing things that are standing right in front of my face.
